Four steps, no intermediaries, and a board that has to look each other in the eye at the next meeting.

Sponsors and donors give
Local businesses take a hole, a meal, or a tier. Individuals give directly. Golfers buy a foursome and bring three friends.

The board allocates
Funds are voted on in open board meetings, program by program, against the mission and what each program actually needs.

Programs get what they lack
Uniforms, entry fees, travel, range time, equipment, and delegate seats. The things that quietly keep a kid from participating.

The board answers for it
Spending comes back to the table at the next meeting. Nothing moves without a vote and a record.
The engine
One tournament carries the year.
The ALYP Charity Golf Tournament is how ALYP funds its grants. Sponsors put their names on tee boxes, golfers fill the field, and the silent auction and raffles close the gap.
Costs are kept deliberately low. The board is unpaid, the work between meetings is volunteer, and the tournament runs on donated prizes and in-kind support wherever it can.
The 4th annual tournament is set for June 14, 2027 at Perry Park Country Club.
